East San Jose Condos

The East San Jose area is a catch-all for the ethnically diverse area east of Downtown which includes Alum Rock, King and Story Roads, the East Foothills and Little Portugal. Alum Rock Park was the first municipal park in California. Located in a canyon in the Diablo Range foothills it is the centerpiece of East San Jose. A 720 acre park, it offers 13 miles of trails, varying from level hiking along Penitencia Creek to sharp switchbacks climbing to the Rims in the North and South. It features a visitor center, picnic areas, a playground, and sand volleyball pits along the canyon floor. 

Condominium living in the East San Jose area is most likely to be found in the East Foothills area, though there are apartment conversions and smaller duplex condos available in the various ethnic areas as well.
